Autism-pedia

Encyclopedia-style entries on autism and AuDHD, built from research notes. Each claim is labeled by how settled the evidence is, and every entry has a version for younger readers.

I turn my research notes on autism and AuDHD into short encyclopedia entries. Each section is labeled by how solid the evidence is, and by whether it comes from research or from autistic writers' own accounts. Every entry also has a plainer version for younger readers. There are over 75 entries so far. It is one person's reading of the research and not an authoritative reference.

Features

  • An evidence label on every section: established, emerging, hypothesis, community or nonspeaking
  • Standard and younger-reader versions of every entry, switchable on the same page
  • Sources cited for each entry, with a "last reviewed" date
  • A separate fact-check pass on every claim before an entry goes up
  • Light and dark modes
  • Suggest a correction on any passage, or suggest a topic, by email
