Open Melody '27

The second Open Melody: adventurous sounds from across genres.

My Interest

I went to the first edition of this in 2026 and it was terrific. I saw Deerhoof for the first time. Water Damage was great. But beyond the incredible music curation was the low keyness of the event. I ended up talking to Thor from Water Damage cause he was just hanging out after the show. Folks from Deerhoof were around all day eating food. At least for my show experience, it was unique in that the barrier between performer and audience was almost non-existent.
